Tamara Goldstein, Psy.D.,  President

Dr. Tamara Goldstein co-founded NovAspire, Inc. in 2004 with her business partner and husband, Basil P. Rouskas. Tamara shares with Basil the interest in working with leaders who are passionate about making powerful changes within and around them. Prior to leading NovAspire she served as Vice-President of Basil Rouskas Associates, Inc., a management consulting firm established by Basil in 1988.

Tamara has been an organizational consultant since 1987 and a licensed psychologist since 1994.  Integrating her expertise as psychologist with that of an organizational consultant she has facilitated deep change processes for diverse individuals and groups.

Tamara is an enthusiast of the “Positive Organizational Scholarship” movement which has been a source of path-breaking insights into the dynamics of extraordinary leaders. In drawing on these findings, she developed numerous customized assessment and action learning programs for senior executives who lead transformational change in their organizations. Tamara has worked with senior executives on building team cohesion, employee coaching and mentoring, succession planning, effective communication and feedback skills, individual and team performance excellence, emotional intelligence skills in leading organizations, assertiveness training, conflict resolution in executive teams, life-long executive career development, work/life balance, transition acceleration to top leadership positions and much more. She facilitated leadership development for senior executives at such organizations as AT&T, Bayer, Campbell Soup Company, Coca Cola Bottling Co., Cornell University, Delaware Investments, Ferraro USA, FINRA, Horizon Blue Cross Blue Shield of New Jersey, Lincoln Financial Group, Loews Hotels, Merck, Miele, Inc., NASD, Pharmacia (currently Pfizer), Schering Plough, SEIU and several high-tech communication start-ups.

Tamara has been a life long student of the powerful impact of diversity – be it in thought, culture, gender or history - on organizations, teams and leaders. She has lived in several countries and speaks several languages. Her multi-cultural work/life /study experience has been a creative resource in working effectively with leaders of today's global organizations.

Tamara obtained her Doctorate in Psychology from the Graduate School of Applied and Professional Psychology at Rutgers University and her M.A. in Psychology from New York University. In preparation for her prior career Tamara earned an M.A. in International Studies, with specialization in Conference Interpreting, from Warsaw University, Poland.

Tamara is a member of the New Jersey Psychological Association, American Psychological Association, past president of Society of Psychologists in Private Practice, member of American Society of Clinical Hypnosis, member of the NJ Organizational Development Network (ODN) and charter member of the International Positive Psychology Association.
